An Update on the Availability of Parts and Tires

At Wilton Auto and Tire Center, we strive to provide quick and efficient service to all our guests.  Currently, we are working harder than ever to secure parts and tires for our clients, as manufacturing and shipping delays continue to affect the availability of goods across many industries.  Even the most basic of automotive parts, such as air filters which are ordinarily kept in stock at the local parts suppliers, are now absent from the shelves and require up to several days to become available.  

In fact, Business Insider recently posted an article documenting the unprecedented backlog of shipping containers off the coast of Southern California where the U.S. sees over half of its imports enter.  In addition to making it more difficult to acquire necessary parts, many parts have seen a significant increase in pricing due to the estimated 500% increase in shipping costs over the past year.
