Meet Our Automotive Family

Born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut, Mike spent most of his childhood tinkering with bicycles, go-karts, and lawnmowers, intrigued by how and why they worked. Experimenting in the basement of his parent’s home, Mike learned the inner workings of all things mechanical, particularly internal combustion engines. After matriculating from Norwalk High School, Mike continued to pursue his passion for mechanics by attending Denver Automotive and Diesel College in Denver, Colorado. He was determined to further his knowledge and expertise to become an Automotive technician, with the ultimate goal of owning his own repair shop.

In 1996, this dream became a reality when Mike purchased Wilton Getty in Wilton, Connecticut, which quickly grew into a busy independent repair facility built on customer service, and quality workmanship. Consequently, Wilton Getty was renamed Wilton Auto and Tire Center to better reflect the comprehensive services offered. The next step in growth was to purchase property and build a state-of-the-art facility, which Mike accomplished in 2016 with our current facility located at 658 Danbury Road.

Now, under Mike’s leadership, Wilton Auto and Tire Center performs routine service and complex repairs on all vehicle makes and models while continuing to evolve and keep pace with changes in automotive technology.

Mike and his family are very thankful for the thousands of residents in the Wilton area who have helped make this business a success.

Norine is a native of Connecticut and a graduate of Danbury High School. She held positions in various fields before embarking on a career in the automotive industry. With 14 years of experience as a service advisor, and 2 years with Wilton Auto and Tire Center, it’s no surprise that Norine is a favorite among customers for her knowledge and attentiveness. When she’s not at work, Norine can be found spending time with her twin sons and their two recently-adopted cats, Ziggy and Princess.

Jarett is the most highly educated member of our team, holding a bachelor’s degree in Education from Hofstra University and a master’s degree in Instructional Technology from the New York Institute of Technology. He has lived many lives which include an 8 year career in education followed by over 16 years in business management roles. Jarett transitioned to the automotive industry in early 2020 and joined the Wilton Auto and Tire Center team as a Service Advisor in 2022. He cites the family atmosphere and working with highly skilled staff as his favorite parts of the job.

Rick was born and raised in Westchester, New York, and has spent his life in the NY/CT area. He began his automotive career early, starting his first job as a gas attendant at just 15 years old. Through hands-on training and education, Rick grew his knowledge base and skillset to become an A-Tech. Celebrating over five years with Wilton Auto and Tire Center, Rick cites professionalism and a positive environment as what he loves most about working here.

Chris earned his associates degree in Automotive Technology from Denver Auto and Diesel College in 1996 before embarking on his 26 year career in the automotive repair industry. Chris has been certified by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence, BMW, and Volkswagen, which earned him the role of Wilton Auto and Tire Center’s in-house European Auto Repair specialist. When he’s not at work, Chris can often be found partaking in outdoor sports including snow skiing and surfing.

Mark has had a lifelong interest in classic cars, motorcycles, and auto racing, so it’s no surprise that he pursued a career in the automotive industry. With over 40 years of industry experience, Mark is an expert in preventative maintenance and suspension diagnostics and repair. As he approaches his 2 year anniversary at Wilton Auto and Tire Center, Mark cites teamsmanship as his favorite thing about working here, stating “you’re a person here.”

Edwin, who more frequently goes by Eddie, has been in the automotive industry for over 16 years and joined the Wilton Auto and Tire Center family 4 years ago. Eddie is our in-house Tire and Alignment specialist and is highly skilled in all aspects of wheel and tire maintenance and repair. His favorite aspects of his job are the family-like relationships amongst our team, and the variability of his daily tasks. Eddie is the life of the party, and has quite literally brought the party to Wilton Auto and Tire Center, having hosted team barbecues complete with his mother’s authentic Salvadorian home cooking.

Aside from the owner, Carrie is the longest serving member of the Wilton Auto and Tire Center team, starting here in 2009. While the title of Office Manager is the best way to describe her position, it does not do justice to the vital role she plays in our business. Carrie fulfills the duties of an in-house accountant, human resources officer, and inventory manager just to name a few. Her interests and hobbies include listening to country music and gardening, which is evident by the numerous plants on her desk and Miranda Lambert songs heard coming from her office.
