Why does my auto repair technician always recommend additional services?

All vehicle owners know how to drive, and most vehicle owners understand the importance of regular oil changes and tire rotations.  However, a large proportion of car owners are completely unaware of all of the services that will be needed to maintain their vehicle throughout its lifespan, and that's okay! We can't be experts at everything, which is why we have teachers to educate our children, CPA's to help with our taxes, and mechanics to service and maintain our vehicles.

At Wilton Auto and Tire Center, our technicians are trained professionals in the field of automotive repair.  They have studied and practiced to become experts in the field of automotive maintenance so you don't have to be.  When you drop your car off at our shop for an oil change and tire rotation, our technicians perform a comprehensive inspection of your entire vehicle to check for wear, tear, leaks, and other damages that impede your vehicles performance or pose a safety risk.  Based on this inspection, our technicians then advise clients of their findings, providing the full inspection for you to view for yourself, and make recommendations for services that are imperative to the functionality and comfortability of your vehicle.

In July 2021, our auto repair technicians offered over 500 recommendations to over 200 clients in over 70 categories which are listed below.  As you peruse the list you will notice items that you are familiar with and others that you may have never heard of before.  We are experts in our field so you don't have to be, which is why we make recommendations for services as needed so you don't have to memorize your vehicle's owner manual and maintenance schedule!
